Pt. 5

Sinners will see the one whom their sin has pierced, the only firstborn child of the Father. The weight of our sin is felt, and repentance is produced. The Lord opens up the fountain to cleanse us of our sin and guilt: the very Son that we pierced and killed with our sin. When the king was slain, the nation was undone, the active participants in the death of the king.

Have you truly looked upon Christ as the One pierced because of your sin?

When God brings conviction, do you move toward the cleansing He provides?

Are you resting in the sufficiency of the fountain God has opened?
